Sydney
AV for Sydney workplaces
that do more.
AV design, installation, and support for meeting rooms, shared workplaces, and event spaces across Sydney, from the CBD to Parramatta and Western Sydney.
Working in Sydney
Plan for the people using the room.
A client call, an internal training session, and a larger presentation can all happen in the same workplace. The AV needs to fit the room, the people booking it, and the team preparing it for the next group.
At Hub Wynyard, we worked through those different uses as part of the fit-out, coordinating delivery through MPA Builders as head contractor. The project shows how smaller meeting rooms and shared event spaces can be planned as part of one venue.
Selected work
One site.
Many ways to meet.
Hub Wynyard is a coworking space where member businesses meet clients, bring teams together, and run training. Each booking can ask something different of a room.
Shared workplace
Hub Wynyard
Sydney CBD
From a laptop call to a room full of people.
Smaller spaces let members connect their own laptop for a meeting or presentation. Four larger rooms were configured as Zoom Rooms, with simple controls for starting calls and operating the room’s camera and audio.
The events room and café supported bigger gatherings. Room-combine functions could feed audio and video from the events room into the café, giving Hub another way to run a shared session across the two spaces.
For the venue team
Ready for the next booking.
Hub staff needed to prepare and manage rooms for different tenants and presenters. Straightforward room controls and laptop connection gave them ways to set up smaller meetings, dedicated video calls, and larger events.
Hub Wynyard is one of 10 Hub Australia locations commissioned by AV Projects across five states and territories. The wider rollout includes more than 30 Zoom Rooms conference rooms and more than 25 bring-your-own-device meeting spaces.

Planning your project
Start with how
the rooms will be used.
Tell us who will use each space, what they need to do there, and how the room will be prepared between sessions. Those details guide the design before equipment is selected.
Meetings and training
Will people bring laptops, use a dedicated room system, or switch between the two? Include the platforms they use and how visiting presenters will share content.
Presentations and events
Consider audience size, room layout, microphones, and how content reaches everyone. If adjacent rooms need to work together, include that requirement from the start.
Controls and handover
Plan how staff start a session, change sources, and reset the room for the next booking. Clear controls and a useful handover matter when many people share a space.
