Working beyond Darwin

The site shapes
the plan.

A regional project starts with a few practical questions: who uses the space, what they need to do, and what is already in place. Site access, available connectivity, and the construction schedule then shape how the work is delivered.

We plan regional work from Darwin, including sites in Katherine, Tennant Creek, Alice Springs, Jabiru, Nhulunbuy, and remote communities. Travel, freight, and time on site are part of the plan from the first conversation.

For Katherine West Health Board, our team coordinated cabling with the fit-out contractors before travelling from Darwin for installation, commissioning, and handover. That is the kind of practical detail we work through with you from the outset.

Selected regional work

Katherine West
Health Board

A training and conference room for an organisation whose people work across the Katherine West region. The room needed shared content around a large room and video conferencing that could accommodate different meeting platforms.

More than one
way to take part.

Two 98-inch displays and two 75-inch screens bring content to different parts of the training room. Ceiling microphone audio, speakers, a conferencing camera, and touch-panel control work together as a room system.

Hybrid BYOD support gives users room-PC and laptop connection options across Teams, Zoom, Webex, and Google Meet. A smaller upstairs meeting room has its own compact conferencing setup.

From planning to handover

Work through
the details early.

Display positions, cable routes, and control choices are easier to resolve while the fit-out is being planned. At KWHB, we worked with the building and electrical contractors, then tested the installed system and handed it over on site.

For your project, bring us into the discussion while power, data, and access decisions can still be coordinated.

Planning a regional project

What will help
us get started?

A room plan and a short description of the work are enough for an initial conversation. Include the site location, the people involved, and any dates or access constraints we should plan around.

The room and its users

Tell us how people meet, train, or present. Include those joining remotely, the platforms they use, and any hearing or other access needs.

Meeting and collaboration systems

The building and the schedule

Share drawings, power and data information, site access arrangements, and the construction schedule. Identify who is coordinating the other trades.

AV design and coordination

After the handover

Discuss who will operate the system and how support should work for the site. Agree training, documentation, and maintenance requirements from the outset.

your regional project.
