We took that same approach right through Canaccord Genuity’s office at 101 Collins in Melbourne – a suite of hybrid meeting rooms built to one common standard, which we handled from design through to commissioning. The executive boardroom is the showpiece: Arthur Holm motorised displays with built-in cameras, and a retractable microphone, rise out of the desk when a meeting starts and drop away when it ends. The cameras switch to whoever is speaking, hearing augmentation is built in, and the room runs Zoom and Microsoft Teams equally – with the racks and cabling kept out of sight in the comms room. It’s the kind of room where the technology never announces itself; people just sit down and start.
