More than meeting rooms.
Hub Wynyard is a coworking space where member businesses meet with clients, bring teams together, and run training. Hub’s team also needs to prepare and manage the rooms for different bookings. AV Projects delivered systems for smaller laptop-based spaces, dedicated Zoom Rooms, and larger event and café areas. Delivery was coordinated through MPA Builders as the head contractor.

A quick video call and a town hall ask different things of a room. At Hub Wynyard, the installation brought together a range of spaces, with the AV matched to how each would be used.
Smaller meeting rooms paired a display with an all-in-one camera, microphone, and soundbar. A member meeting a client, or an external trainer using the space, could bring their own laptop to present or join a video call using their preferred application.
Four larger meeting spaces were configured as Zoom Rooms, with an iPad controller for starting calls and operating the room’s camera and audio. Laptop connection provided another way to present or run a meeting. Straightforward controls helped Hub staff prepare and administer the rooms for the next booking.
Hub Wynyard is one of 10 Hub Australia locations commissioned by AV Projects across five states and territories. The wider rollout includes more than 30 Zoom Rooms conference rooms of varying sizes and more than 25 bring-your-own-device (BYOD) meeting spaces where people can present or join video calls from their own laptops, using their preferred conferencing platform.
Events and café
A bigger audience,

The events room and café catered for larger gatherings. Both had dedicated presentation and conferencing systems, with controls for the different ways the spaces could be used.
The café’s motorised projection screen provided a large-format display for town hall-style sessions. In the events room, Zoom Rooms and laptop-based conferencing sat alongside presentation, television, and public-address functions.
When an event needed to reach both spaces, room-combine functionality allowed audio and video from the events room to feed the café’s screen and sound system. That gave the venue another way to accommodate a shared session across the two areas.

The installation combined AVer cameras and conferencing systems with Shure microphones and audio processing. Epson projectors served the larger presentation spaces, with Crestron control and video distribution and Q-SYS audio processing bringing the wider system together.
Room-system configuration and AV networking connected this equipment across the fit-out, supporting the different presentation and conferencing arrangements described in the handover manual.
The final handover manual covered room operation, source selection, room combining, and troubleshooting, supported by as-installed drawings. It gave the venue team a reference for running the systems after installation.
The result was a range of meeting and presentation options within one workplace: connect a laptop for a smaller session, use a dedicated room system for a video meeting, or bring the events room and café together for a larger gathering.
